Eugenio Correnti
With an initial background in mathematics and engineering, I have been teaching mindfulness in various contexts for over 10 years, particularly in the prison system where I facilitate workshops and programs based on mindfulness, non-violent communication and emotional intelligence. I am trained in MBSR (stress reduction), MBRP (relapse prevention) and other programs like mindfulness for seniors (MBCAS) and compassion-based program MBCL and have been an MBSR teacher trainer for IMA institute since 2019 and a supervisor of mindfulness teachers since 2021.
The programs I have been trained have been constructed to benefit individuals very effectively but usually lack the dimension of the collective body and system changes. In order to be an agent of change, I am convinced that a shift from individual to Social Mindfulness perspective is highly needed in mindfulness today.
