Mindfulness-Based Organisational Education (MBOE)

Mindfulness-Based Organisational Education (MBOE) is a social mindfulness programme designed to create an inclusive, wellbeing culture that releases the collective intelligence of diverse teams in a VUCA world.

The MBOE curriculum is the first ‘moderated low dose Mindfulness-Based Programme’ recognised by the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA) and the Dutch Mindfulness Teachers’ Association (VMBN).

MBOE has been trialled with NHS hospital staff where it was found to improve Basic Psychological Needs at Work (autonomy, competence, and relatedness), mindfulness (FFMQ), and reduce stress (PSS) (Krusche et al 2020).

The programme is delivered face-to-face or remotely, over six weeks:

Six week course, proven to be effective in trial:
  • Six classes of 1-1.5 hours
  • Supplementary reading between classes
  • Recordings of 10-minute
  • Activities
One-day workshop:
  • One-day workshop
  • Six check ins over six weeks
  • Recordings of 10-minute
  • Activities
