As a specialist in the field of vitality, diversity and inclusion, I help organizations become more vital and inclusive. Due to an aging population, a tight labor market and high rates of employee dropout due to mental imbalance, the development and growth ambitions of organizations are coming under pressure. A positive trend is that more and more organizations are opening up to more diversity in gender, cultural background and age group. Because people naturally tend to withdraw into their own safe group, connection is essential in an environment where communication and collaboration are the norm to achieve results. Connection does not always happen automatically, it requires extra attention. Social Mindfulness is an effective method that fits in nicely with my ambition to create connections between a group of people in an accessible way. This makes it a different application of mindfulness than the individually focused MBSR and MBCT programs.
